Kangana Ranaut Opens Up About Ajnala Police Station Attack; Say, ‘Predicted Two Years Ago, Wahi Hua Jo Maine Kaha Tha’
Kangana Ranaut has shared her take on the Ajnala police station attack in Amritsar, recalls how she was mistreated in Punjab
Actress Kangana Ranaut is known for never mincing her words. Ever since her Twitter handle was restored, earlier this year, she has been taking to the social media platforms to share her take on Bollywood and ongoing socio-political scenarios in the country. On Saturday morning, the actress had taken to her official handle to comment on Waris Punjab De Chief Amritpal Singh’s attack on the Ajnala police station in Amritsar, to free Singh’s aide Lovepreet Toofan.
Kangana through her tweet’s expressed how she had predicted whatever is happening in Punjab, two years ago. Recalling how she was mistreated in Punjab, shedding light on the incident when her car was vandalised in 2021 and her movies being banned in the state, the actress said it is a price she has to pay for being a nationalist. She tweeted, “Whatever is happening in Punjab I predicted two years ago, many cases were filed on me, arrest warrant was issued against me, my car was attacked in Punjab, lekin wahi hua na jo maine kaha tha,now is the time non- Khalistani Sikhs need to make there position and intension clear (thumbs-up emoji).”

The 35-year-old actress then retweeted her post and wrote, “6 summons, one arrest warrant, ban on my movies in Punjab, physical attack on my car, the price a nationalist pays to keep the nation together. She had also in another series of tweets, she expressed Amritpal has openly challenged the entire nation to have an “intellectual discussion with him he can justify the demand of #Khalistan.” She revealed that she would gladly be that person “if I am not beaten/attacked or shot dead by Khalistanis I am ready.”

On the work front, Kangana Ranaut will be seen in Emergency, her first solo directorial project. She will be essaying the role of India’s late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. A period political drama, the movie is based on the emergency period in India during the mid-70s, which was announced by the then PM. She will play the role of the late Prime Minister in the film. The movie also stars Anupam Kher, Milind Soman, Mahima Chaudhry, Satish Kaushik and Shreyas Talpade in pivotal roles. She also has RSVP Movies’ Tejas, Chandramukhi 2 and Manikarnika Returns: The Legend Of Didda in the pipeline.
